Top spokepersons for both NASA and SETI issued a joint statement on the mysterious message from space today. They confirmed previously published reports that the message repeats over and over again the phrase: “One. One one. One one.” The spokespersons went on to say that further information behind the meaning of the mysterious signal would be revealed on Sunday, New Year’s Day, at the website of the publisher of the Villains and Vigilantes™ superhero role-playing game, Monkey House Games. When asked by the media why such an unusual venue was selected for an announcement of such vast significance, one of the spokespersons replied: “We don’t know. We just work here.”
SETI- the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence- reports picking up a signal from deep space. The signal originates from some extraterrestrial civilization never previously encountered.
