Taking advantage of the MP conversions of the Crusaders and the Crushers, last Friday night I ran a Mighty Protectors game at Gary Con in Wisconsin, modernizing the many decades old classic introductory adventure "Crisis at Crusader Citadel".
We had a full table (six players, plus myself as GM, assisted by my son), and the game went well.
It was surprising how many V&V games were at this old-school con. Besides this event, there was another MP game, and another person ran four 2.0 games (he ran two games twice; I played in one of each).
I'll post some pictures later, but the PCs did well. They ended up running Shatterman, Condor, Gilgamesh, Hotshot, Tattercloak, and Knight Owl. They ran the Crushers off in the first half (felling half of them), and chased them (with a few more captures) at the Citadel to end it.

where can I find the conversions of the crusaders and crushers? The book ok drive thru rpg says it's the classic edition? Did you just convert them yourself?
thanks
It was a great game! Thanks for running it. I also played in the two-part 2.0 game. Maybe I'll gather up the courage to run something myself someday.
That's impressive! Since there were six players, did that mean none of the Crusaders came to their aid? I'd love to hear/read more details. Crisis is such a fun adventure, and challenging on the combat side of things.
The conversions were done by the Monkey House Games fellas; I believe from the Kickstarter or GoFundMe endeavors. I believe they will make them available to all eventually.
We didn't end up using any of the Crusaders. Things were dicey for the heroes at a few points, but they used teamwork to snap each other out of Marionette's mental control or wake each other up, and eventually the villains were forced to turn tail and run.
I'll give some more details with some pics later.
Great to see you here, Galderon! You totally should!
