Home-brew Idea: Rays, Bolts, and Blasts

Rays: You may purchase the Sweep Attack modifier for all Ray attacks for +5 CPs. When using a Ray attack, you may sacrifice your Movement Phase to make a Sweep Attack against up to three targets in a 90-degree arc in front of you that are within range and on the same elevation. Sweeping Attacks do not suffer the Multiple Action Penalty; however, targets may leap clear of it the same way they would an Area Attack.

  • Devitalization Ray
  • Disintegration Ray
  • Laser (becomes Light Ray)

Bolts have +2 Knockback Damage by default.

  • The Telekinesis ‘Kinetic Manipulation’ attack (becomes Kinetic Bolt)
  • Lightning Bolt
  • Force Bolt

Blasts have a ½” Diameter Area of Effect by default.

  • Chemical Blast
  • Flame Blast
  • Ice Blast
  • Power Blast
  • Repulsion Blast
  • Sonic Blast
  • Vibratory Blast
