For a fun getaway, there are lots of things to do in carlsbad new mexico. The huge, bat-filled tunnels of Carlsbad Caverns National Park are known to be accessible through it. Towering Sitting Bull Falls are surrounded by paths to the park's north. Lake Carlsbad Beach Park is located downtown and offers picnic and swimming spaces in addition to a nearby water park.
