I forgot how much detail there was in the Star Frontiers rule book!
Here are my Mighty Protectors conversions for the the Star Frontiers races.
Each race gets (5) fewer CPs per Core Ability.

Nice. A friend recently picked up Star Frontiers off eBay, and we were looking at playing again. Might be fun to try an MP-based gsme, using the setting, instead.

Star Frontiers Weapons

The weapons listed in the "Standard Weapon" ability fit the damage cap for low level heroes, and were built to be "gear which needs to operate the same way in the hands of characters of different power levels". So modifying them seemed to be the correct way to model the Star Frontiers weaponry.

forgot to add: Doze grenades victims are not only paralyzed, they are unconscious

Defense Screens

Defensive Suits
For defensive suits, characters should be able to use the existing ARMOR ability. I would suggest that they use the Ablative modifier to keep in the spirit of Star Frontiers, where their suits wear out over time.
