this is a minor point: Iron man is listed as 170 pounds, which gives him a mass of d4.
With his armor on he must weigh more, making his mass d6 or more. Maybe there should be a gear weight stat.

According to http://www.marveldirectory.com/miscellaneous/ironmanmarkvi.htm his Mk VI armor weighed 240 lbs. There are only a few Abilities in Mighty Protectors that add to a character's weight, but in Iron Man's case I think A) Density Increase fits the best.

So, one could argue that he should also have Density Increase: 2/1/1/2 Protection, +3 ST, x2 Weight (5), PR=0 (+5), Stay's Active (+5), Can't Hold Back (-5); Total Cost = 10 CPs. I wouldn't give it the Multi-Function Gear modifier because the weight of the suit is something that, AFAIK, is never broken. So with this change his weight would go to 340 lbs, while wearing his armor, and have a mass roll of d6.

If that's too much a stretch for you then you could just make up a house rule, call it "Gear Weight", and make it cost something like: 1 CP for +120 lbs, 2 CPs for +240 lbs, 3 CPs for +480 lbs, and so on.

Since a character is allowed to decide on their own weight, and the combined weight of Stark and his armor (410) is within the allowed Heroic weight, it shouldn't really cost anything. Personally I would just make a note that his mass is d6 (d4 without armor).

By the way, I just consulted ye olde time V&V tome from 1985 and it says that the weight of device armor should be "considered irrelevant". So maybe this is all pointless.

I've re-organized the blog, making it easier to navigate. Plus, I have added Mantis, Moondragon, and Jocasta. You can see them at https://adamantium2017.wordpress.com/ and at https://adamantium2017.wordpress.com/marvel-bronze-age-heroes/

The blog is great, well done. It's fun to see the Avengers as well as character design and power modelling examples.

Regarding the armor, I think Giant Gorilla had the best idea: call it a story SFX and ignore it.
I think another mechanic alternative to Density Increase is Physical Ability: Inertia, and call the SFX "weight of the armor."
