ANCIENT EVIL is written by STEPHEN DEDMAN (classic V&V™ adventures PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE and THE GREAT IRIDIUM CON) and features art by TOD ALLEN SMITH (TOPPS- MARVEL and STAR WARS Card artist, INFINITY LOUNGE).
Kingstown is a sleepy little hamlet cut off from the outside world, where traditional values are held sacred, there’s little tolerance for strangers, and folks just want to live undisturbed. Now something unimaginable dwells near Kingstown, something that wants to eradicate free thought, and subject humanity to enslavement and genocide. It is a pure malevolence older than Mankind’s darkest primal nightmares. It is ANCIENT EVIL™.
MONKEY HOUSE GAMES™ will release ANCIENT EVIL™ at 12:01am Central Time on August 31, 2011 in digital format through RPGNow.com and its affiliates. OFFICIAL 3RD EDITION FROM ORIGINAL V&V CREATORS TO BE PUBLISHED BY MONKEY HOUSE GAMES
Confirming months of speculation, JEFF DEE and JACK HERMAN, the creators of the superhero role-playing game VILLAINS AND VIGILANTES™, are announcing that the Third Edition of V&V™ is currently in development. JACK HERMAN, V&V co-creator and co-founder of Money House Games, commented: “Jeff and I are already deep into the work of creating the Third Edition of V&V™. As the sole authorized publisher of Villains and Vigilantes™, this Third Edition will be available exclusively from Monkey House Games. Accept no substitutes.” JEFF DEE, V&V co-creator and co-founder of Money House Games added “We want the Third Edition of V&V to be accessible to new RPG players yet comfortably familiar to our long-time players. We are working hard to insure that our game will be extremely compatible with the previous 2.1 version of Villains and Vigilantes, while at the same time bringing V&V into the 21st Century.”

These works are often cited as the “rough draft” of Willingham’s influential superhero comic book series Elementals. They will be available in both digital and print form.

NEW V&V™ 2.1 ADVENTURE “IN BROAD DAYLIGHT”™ FROM V&V™ CREATORS DEE & HERMAN!
On November 30, 2010 MONKEY HOUSE GAMES™ will release IN BROAD DAYLIGHT™, an all-new adventure for VILLAINS AND VIGILANTES™ 2.1. The adventure is written by JACK HERMAN and features brand new artwork by JEFF DEE.
“This is the V&V™ reunion album everyone’s been waiting for, including us. It’s the first completely new V&V™ adventure we’ve directly collaborated on since Most Wanted Volume One in 1983. It’s the biggest V&V™ event in over twenty-five years!” said artist and MONKEY HOUSE GAMES™ co-founder JEFF DEE.
“We think it’s pretty exciting. It has everything you’d want in a superhero adventure, but it’s certainly not a typical formula story. Here’s the spoiler-free description: A very famous person goes missing. No one knows if it was a murder, a kidnapping, a suicide, a runaway, an accident or a hoax and the players have to figure it out,” said author and MONKEY HOUSE GAMES™ co-founder JACK HERMAN. “Too vague? Okay, this adventure takes you from the heights to the depths of New York City. It has gangster girls with guns, weird science, giant monsters, a life hanging in the balance, and a collection of villainous freaks lead by a pair of vile sociopaths. Good times!”
IN BROAD DAYLIGHT™ will also feature, for the use of either players or the GM, the stats for the superhero team THE INDESTRUCTIBLES™. These are the characters featured on the covers of both previous editions of the V&V™ rulebook and featured prominently in the artwork for V&V™ 2.1. The adventure will also include full conversions to the LIVING LEGENDS™ game system.
