Once my conversion skills get good enough I may make attempts to create some of the heroes and villains that aren't already available from Team Frog. I can do some minor stuff with sculpting putty so far, I am taking a couple of classes in conversion of mini's at GenCon this year too so we shall see.

I looked carefully at his skin color on the cover and if you look at the skin tones of all the other faces on the cover he is no more pink than any of them. It doesn't describe him as being more pink than average in the adventure either. I have seen him in the Elementals comic and he does look much pinker there.

Yes, he does look a bit lighter pink on the cover, but then we have a couple of sources for why he should be pinker:

1) As you mentioned, the Elementals comic.

2) The markers that Patrick Zircher did for that adventure.

Both sources show him to be a very dark pink.

Hmm I would have to do a complete repaint of the mini in order to make him pinker than he is now really. That and I don't have a lot of pinkish paint. I may do that regardless down the road though.

Well I just ordered the first six mini's. I decided to start things off with Gauntlet, Mouser, Condor, Hornet, and the Marionette w/Mocker miniatures. If they arrive in time I might be able to start work before I head to GenCon but I will post shots of the mini's as the work progresses.

I don't know if you should really go to all that trouble. In my mind, each GM is like a different writer for a comic. If in "your universe" Behemoth is a little bit lighter pink, then go with it! It's not like he's a character that is going to be in the "Official V&V Universe" anyway (not unless I win the Lottery and buy the rights to all of the Elementals characters and give them to Bill, Jeff and Jack). 8-)

Doesn't Bill already own the rights to Behemoth? Meh like we need another copyright discussion lol!

No, he sold the rights to almost all of the Elementals characters (which included the Destroyers) to a guy named Andrew Rev (IIRC), who used to be president of Comico.

By the way, Paul Lidberg over at Team Frog Studios is looking for someone who can provide photos of accurately painted examples of the V&V/Living Legends figures that he sells:

(URL corrected: thanks folks!)

I realize this isn't the best place for this question but here goes. I ordered six mini's from Team Frog and Paypal shows my payment to them went through. When I visit the Team Frog website the six mini's still show as being in my cart though (like the order hasn't been completed). I did email Paul through the website to inquire about the order but have not received a reply as of yet. Any chance that you could ask about the order on my behalf Jeff?

I'd recommend contacting Paul through the V&V Yahoo Group, Duroon (if you're not a member there, I could do it for you). He regularly participates there, so I'm sure he'd answer your question.

I am a member there as well. I know I have seen Paul post there every so often, I didn't think of that though for some reason lol. I sent him a pm through the yahoo site. I also sent a message through the contact us link on Team Frog's website.
