And a little more info (Highlights are by me).

Dirty little secret: the characters in the ads were generated for the ads, and (for the most part) weren't ever used in any of our actual campaign. So the info that's in the ad is all there is, with a couple of minor caveats:

MAGNETOR
This character was loosely inspired by a player character from Jack Herman's Protectors campaign. I think in the ad he's Swedish or something? Well, the original PC wasn't. This character has further evolved in my own campaign setting, and is now known as Magnate (he's now a member of the Super Society in Boston - probably the closest thing that the V&V/LL universe has to the Avengers or JLA).

SHATTERMAN
Well obviously we re-used elements from the ad when creating the Shatterman character for the V&V comic book. The comic book version is the one who exists in the official V&V/LL universe. You can think of the ad version as an 'alternate reality' Shatterman, if you like.

And it looks like Mouser is on the cover of FORCE, one more down.

While these aren't official, here's some colored versions of the various V&V characters., done up by "Kardiac", and the good folks over at http://www.superbuddies.net There are several current and former V&v players who hang out, and contribute. Kard was one of the first people to download 2.1

I have seen Temper done up before but with a different color scheme (black and red).

Now this one isn't one of the LL/V&V line, but I am sure we have all played Death Dual with The Destroyers and have many fond memories of that big monster on the cover. I used a Reaper Chronoscope mini called Lab Mutant. I hacked off the mohawk hair job and added a scenic base.
This is my attempt at Behemoth! Finished product now and better pics than this afternoon.

The color job you did on this miniature is amazing! Behemoth should be a bit more pink, though.

V&V GM and player since 1982 (my current campaign is 22 years old); also run West End Games d6 Star Wars monthly, as well as the occasional The One Ring and Marvel Heroic Roleplaying game

I looked carefully at his skin color on the cover and if you look at the skin tones of all the other faces on the cover he is no more pink than any of them. It doesn't describe him as being more pink than average in the adventure either. I have seen him in the Elementals comic and he does look much pinker there.

Here's a partially obscured pic of Cheetah, and two other characters. It's the cardboard backing for the Living Legends minis, and appears on page 130 of the Living Legends rule book.

As a side note, I'd love to see this pic (the full color one), used as the cover to any revised edition of LL.

Cheetah is not on the list of available miniatures, not sure who the other two are, maybe the guy on the left is Omni now Axiom?
