The Boogeyman announces it is time for all the heroes and the earth to die. He releases the Star Monster

It turned out the bomb wasn't a device but a genetically engineered Psynax monstrousity. It is so fearsome
that all the Psynax including those in power armor abandon ship.

The Boogeyman files of the Psynax ship into the boarding tube.

Hotshot and Cannon fight the Star Monster. The Star Monster fires quills from it body. It starts like a fluid and
harden into spikes in the air. The Star Monster kills "Ballie". Hotshot blasts the Star Monster twice but it doesn't
appear to be hurt. Cannon blasts it as well. While it is still standing it appears it is possible to defeat it.

The other heroes chase after Boogeyman. When they get to the cargo hold they find that Red Lightning is dead and the
Boogeyman has killed him but there are 2 Boogeyman. The 2 Boogeyman start arguing. Both wanted Red Lightning dead but
only 1 wanted the Earth destroyed. They started to fight in the Boarding Tube.

Tigress, The Schnoz, Night Owl and Tattercloak all land on top of the same slippery crate. Tattercloak opens the crate
causing the green slime to flood the Boarding Tube.

Jeff picks up a 1d6 rolls, he rolled a 6 and declares the slime is flame retardant. Both Boogeymen have their flames snuffed out.
Euphrates charges into the tube in a effort to capture our time/dimension Boogeyman.

Euprhates in stuck in the slime and can't move.

Shutterbug runs across the top of the tube and starts to open the Earth Ship's hatch.

The Psynax escape in their emergency shuttle.

Shutterbug gets the hatch open and the an automated voice announces that the tube will be decontamiated in 15 seconds.

Shutterbug enters the ship. Tattercloak flies into the ship. Night Owl picks up Tigress and grabs Euphrates and files team
into the ship.

The Schnoz runs and slides across the tube on the slide into the ship.

Hotshot flies across trying to grab the "good" (identified by the lack of bandages) Boogeyman but misses. So he enters the
ship by himself.

Cannon runs into the tube and dives into the slime like a child would a slip and slide. His Force Field allows him to do this
easily and his size causes both Boogeyman and the body of Red Lightning to be pushed into the ship. In fact, most of the
slime itself is pushed into the ship.

The Earth Ship disengages from the Psynax ship. It blasts the unmanned Psynax ship with its multiple blasters destroying it.
Only the Star Monster remains. The ship blasts in now. The Star Monster is destroyed before it enters Earth's Atmosphere.

We celebrate this victory with Volcanic Man and the other Earth's defenders. There is a huge ceremony where we receive
medals and party with a who's who of 70s super heroes and villains.

During the party Axiom informs us that he can returns to our time and dimension. We thank him and take him up on his offer.

We were never able to find Stagmata. No one knows where he teleported to and know trace of him could be found.

So we take the captured Boogeyman and return to our Earth and 2012.

From this it sounds like a character in 3.0 can fire at multiple targets, but one miss doesn't cause both to miss! Would that be accurate?

Yes, instead of all hit or all miss as is 2.1, the rule is there is a -3 modifier to both shots. So Hotshot had a to hit of 17 but since I fired two it was 14 to hit before the Pysnax defenses are figured in.

That actually sounds like a pretty workable mechanic.
