Award-winning writer and artist BILL WILLINGHAM (FABLES, WARRIORS THREE) and MONKEY HOUSE GAMES™ are proud to announce that they are bringing the classic superhero role-playing game adventures DEATH-DUEL WITH THE DESTROYERS™ and THE ISLAND OF DOCTOR APOCALYPSE™ back into print for the VILLAINS AND VIGILANTES™ 2.1 game system. These works are often cited as the “rough draft” of Willingham’s influential superhero comic book series Elementals. They will be available in both digital and print form.

“Monkey House Games is the one-and-only rightfully authorized publisher of both Death Duel and Doc Apoc” writer-artist BILL WILLINGHAM announced. “These two adventures represent some of my earliest published work and have not been legitimately available for many years. Now they’re back. Sometimes when your past catches up with you, it’s a good thing!”

“Death Duel and Doc Apoc are an important part of the V&V legacy. For this special event, for the first time ever, all of Bill’s original art will appear in full color in our digital version. “I am enfolding the Destroyers and Doctor Apocalypse into what I am calling the Mount Pelion Universe, my brand new superhero world. Mount Pelion stories have already appeared in print and will continue to appear here and there. Part of my agreement with Monkey House Games is that the Mount Pelion Universe is now the official next-door-neighbor superhero universe to the V&V Universe. So, you may see more Mount Pelion material for V&V in the future.” concluded BILL WILLINGHAM.

DEATH DUEL WITH THE DESTROYERS™ and THE ISLAND OF DOCTOR APOCALYPSE™ will be released by MONKEY HOUSE GAMES™ in 2011.
